How to Achieve "The Look"
 
   
 
Skin Preparation
 
 

First we had Belen cleanse her face using a cleanser appropriate for her skin type. We then applied i.d. bareVitamins Skin Rev-er Upper all over her face. This product can be applied day or night, and is a leave-on skin exfoliator and moisturizer all-in-one. This item is included in the Tan Get Started Kit, and we recommend that it be used everyday prior to applying your bareMinerals SPF15 Foundation.

  
   
 
Pre-Concealer Selection and Application
 
 
Before applying foundation, our makeup artist wanted to apply bareMinerals Multi-Tasking Summer Bisque SPF20 to conceal some dark areas around the eyes. The Maximum Coverage Concealer Brush holds a lot of multi-tasking minerals and allows you to provide complete concealing coverage in the areas that need it most.
  
   
 
Foundation Selection and Application
 
 

For Belen's skin type, our makeup artist selected the bareMinerals Medium Tan SPF15 Foundation and applied it using the Full Coverage Kabuki Brush. Both of these products are included in the Tan Get Started Kit.

When applying the bareMinerals Foundation, it is important to follow the trademark Swirl, Tap, Buff technique. When you tap the brush, the idea is to shake off all of the loose minerals until you can no longer see them on the brush, then just buff it all over the face.

After application of the bareMinerals SPF15 Foundation, Belen's skin tone is evened out. The look is completely natural, as if she is wearing nothing at all.

  
   
 
Skin Hydration
 
 
To give Belen'a skin a dewey glow, we gave her a couple of squirts with MD Formulations Moisture Defense Antioxidant Spray. This product can be worn under or over makeup and contains four powerful antioxidants for added protection.
 
   
 
Bronzer Application
 
 

Belen has a thin face with a lot of natural color, so we used the Flawless Application Face Brush to apply just a touch of Warmth All-Over Face Color on the cheekbones and forehead.

Both of these items are included in the Tan Get Started Kit.

 
   
 
Blush Selection and Application
 
 

For Belen's complexion, we selected i.d. bareMinerals Lovely Loose Blush. Using the Tapered Blush Brush, our makeup artist applied Lovely to the apples of the cheeks.

This simple application of color to the cheeks really warms up the face.

 
   
 
Finishing Powder
 
 
To achieve a photo-finish look, we used the Flawless Application Face Brush to apply i.d. bareMinerals Mineral Veil. Mineral Veil is a sheer, corn-starch based product that absorbs excess oil, minimizes fine lines and pores, and keeps your complexion fresh all day long.
 
   
 
Eyebrows
  
 
Belen has sparse eyebrows, so we used the Bare Escentuals Brow Brush to apply bareMinerals Dark Blonde / Medium Brown Brow Powder to fill them in.
 
   
 

We finished off Belen's brows by applying the bareMinerals Brow Finishing Gel. This helps to set and hold the brow powder in place for a long lasting perfect brow look.

All of these eyebrow tools are included in the bareMinerals Perfect Brow Kit.

 
   
 
Eye Makeup Selection and Application
  
 
For the eyeshadow base, we used the Contour Shadow Brush to apply Vanilla Sugar Eyeshadow to the entire eyelid.
  
   
 

For the eyeshadow color, we used the Contour Shadow Brush to apply bareMinerals Heart Glimmer to the entire eyelid.

  
   
 
To bring out Belen's eyes, we used bareMinerals Java Eyeshadow as a contour color. Using the Eye Defining Brush, we applied the contour color to the outer corners of the eyelid and the crease of the lid.
 
   
 
To finish the eyelook, we used the Eyeliner Brush to apply bareMinerals Midnight Sky Liner Shadow to the base of the eyelashes. Our makeup artist applied the eyeliner dry on the below-eye lash line. Then she wet the brush before dipping it in the bareMinerals to apply the eyeliner wet to the above-eye lash line. This wet application helped add definition to the above-eye lash line.
 
   
 
Belen's eye look was completed by applying bareMinerals Classic Black Mascara.
 
   
 
Lips
  
 
For the lips, we decided to go with a layered look. To help keep our lipstick in-line and to prevent fading, we first applied bareMinerals Neutral Lip Liner on Belen.
 
   
 

Next, we applied bareMinerals 100% Natural Lip Color: Ripe Fig to the entire lip.

  
   
 
To complete the lips, we applied Big & Health Lip Polish: Bianca Buxom Lips. Another two-in-one product, this lip gloss also has a natural lip plumper that will give your face the perfect pout!
 
   
 
In about 10 minutes, we gave Belen a completely natural look that can be worn everyday.
